Tributes keep pouring in for the late former General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie known in the political circles as Sir John as he goes home tomorrow June 3, 2021.
The tributes which are from individuals from the two leading political divides point to the fact that Sir John from Sakora Wonoo was a great man whose understanding of politics was dynamic.
Individuals from the NDC especially have expressed their likeness for him and his understanding of the fact that regardless of belonging to different ideologies as politicians, they are bound by mother Ghana.
Sir John is expected to be buried on June 3 in his highly talked about hometown Sakora Wonoo in funeral which is expected to run for 4 days.
The much-talked-about politician died in July 2020 after just a few days he was admitted to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Prior to his death, Sir John as he was affectionately called was the Chief Executive Officer for the Forestry Commission; a Commission he transformed to provide employment for the teeming youth who had been unemployed for years.
