When we talk about controversies in Ghana, one of the household names that quickly come to mind is “Osebo the Zara Man”. We all know him as a Ghanaian fashionista whose outfits are often talked about a lot.
In an interview with Ghanaian Actress Abena Ghana, the fashionista broke down in tears while he shared the story of how he managed to leave the shores of Ghana in search of Greener Pastures.
According to Osebo, his mother had no option than to sell his clothes to raise some money for his travel tickets.
I met one Togolese man who gave me his son’s passport. The old man advised me to replace his son’s passport picture with mine and travel with it. The passport at the time allowed holders to enter Italy without visas.
I quickly grabbed the opportunity, but funds to buy a ticket became another problem.
It was at this point that my mother went into her wardrobe and pick out some of her best clothes and sold of them off to raise funds for my travel ticket. He said with tears in his eyes.
Osebo, known in real life as Seth Appiah Boamah became a social media sensation with her fashion style and rumors of her alleged paternal relationship with the son of Ghana’s ace broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah.
