A Mufakose man ended his 13-year-old marriage with his wife live on camera after DNA test results revealed that he was not the father to their second-born son.

The man was left stunned after he discovered that his wife had an adulterous affair with a married neighbor at his rural home in Masvingo during lockdown.

The matter came to light after the neighbor’s wife  confronted the cheated man’s relatives with evidence of the affair.

After his wife confessed, the man informed the police and the matter was taken to the Chief’s court.

However, after the affair was exposed, the man revealed that his family questioned  the paternity of their second  and last born children.

The man claims that rumors in the village were already circulating that his wife’s lover is the one who fathered those two kids.

In an effort to establish the paternity of the second and last born children, they decided to conduct DNA tests.

However, before the DNA results were announced, in her mitigation, the wife argued that when she was staying in the rural areas, her husband never came to visit her for long periods of time. She added that when he visited her he was always tired and didn’t fulfil his conjugal rights.

The man on other hand admitted to cheating on his wife at some point in time.

Meanwhile, the DNA tests which were carried out by Global DNA Zimbabwe indicated that the man was the father of the last born child who was born during lockdown but not of the second born child.

After the results were announced, the woman vehemently refused to take any further DNA test to establish the paternity of her  second born child.

The man on the other hand decided to end their marriage after the DNA test were revealed
