Rapper Amerado ‘di asem aba’ as his lyrics in diss track to Zylofon Music artiste, Obibini has left Lapaz prostitutes angry.
The two artists took to the booth yesterday to prove to Ghanaians which one among them is more talented and has sick bars in the rap fraternity.
This comes after Amerado dared Obibini to respond to him if he was not happy about his freestyle on Tim Westwood in UK.
Obibini accepted the challenge and decided to throw jabs at Amerado with a diss track title Deceased”.
As anticipated, Amerado replied with his version titled ‘The Throne’, and ‘unfortunately’ s3x workers in Lapaz caught some stray bullets.
In one of his lines, the rapper said: “… wo di ashawofoɔ wɔ Lapaz (In English: You sleep with prostitutes at Lapaz)”.
In a press statement circulating on social media, the National Association of Ashawo Lapaz Branch has expressed disappointment in Amerado for deciding to use “ashawofo) w) Lapaz” in his rap to diss Obibini.
“As part of the ongoing “beef between Obibini and Amerado, the latter made lyrical statements which sought to undermine and demean the integrity of the prostitutes at Lapaz, the lyrical line is given as follows: “…wo di ashawofo) w) Lapaz,” the statement said.
The press statement highlights the essence of the prostitutes at Lapaz, saying that “due to the professional nature of our service, it has attracted the attention of tourist who sometimes comes all the way from USA, UK, Greece. Germany. Burkina Faso etc just to enjoy our service and return”.
According to the statement signed under the name of Empress Ohenewaa, “the characterization of our work in a manner which is seemingly demeaning has the potential of affecting our business”.
