Actress Rosemond Alade Brown known popularly as Akuapem Poloo has said that she was ignorant about the fact that posting her nude picture with her son could lead her to jail.

Rosemond Brown was sentenced a 90-day jail term for posting a photo of herself and her son on his birthday on June 30, 2020.

However, the actress has been granted an GHC 80,000 bail pending the hearing of an Appeal of the matter in court.

Addressing the media Saturday following her release from jail, Akuapem Poloo indicated that her ignorance lead her to post such a photo because if she was aware of the fact that it contravenes the law, she would have not posted it.

To her, she needs to be forgiven although ignorance of the law is no excuse and that she will not repeat such acts.

The actress used the opportunity to advise her colleagues who are into nudity indicating that “we should put a stop to it”.

The actress was grateful to all individuals who supported her in diverse ways to ensure that she was taken out of jail for her actions.
