The rift between notorious teenage armed robbers and the assembly member for Nzima Kokode Electoral Area Hon Wilson Sackey is not ending anytime soon as the robbers are using a popular Ghanaian Hiplife song by Dead Peepol and Rich Kent dubbed ‘Otan Hunu’ to tease the latter
Residents of Kokode have over the years complained bitterly about increasing insecurity in the area as armed robbers are said to be terrorizing them
Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo reported on Monday June 21, 2021 that a 30-year-old security man Kwadwo Ayem was butchered by an 11 old boy identified as Aboude3 and his gang for thwarting their robbery operations.
The Assembly Member for Nzima Kokode Electoral Area Hon Wilson Sackey popularly known as Hon Arabs speaking in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo monitored by MyNewsGh.com revealed that his life was also under threat.
“My life is in danger because I pledged to my people to fight and combat crime in the area with the police and due to that the robbers see me as their worst enemy”. He revealed
According to him, “the robbers in Kokode are young boys but they are very deadly because they have different types of sophisticated weapons unknown to the police because there is no police station in the area”.
“When the see me then they will be teasing me with ‘Wo tan me’ by Dead Peepol. They do it like this ‘Wotaa me na menhunu na me san flex gu wo so’. Sometimes when they have a successful operation or escape from police arrest then they will even locate me wherever I’m to tease me with that song’ Hon Arabs disclosed.
“I know all of them and I have reported the issue to Sofoline Police Command but they always change their location but I’m have been assured by the police that they will all be arrested”. He added.
