How Kennedy Agyapong was interrogated in the USA over Ahmed Suale’s murder

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has confessed that he has been severally interrogated in the United States of America (USA) over the murder of investigative Journalist Ahmed Suale.

He disclosed that the embarrassing spectacle associating with this questioning at international airports is the reason he is piling pressure on the Ghana Police Service to find the killers of the former member of Tiger PI.

“It got to an extent a Congressman reported me to the US authorities. In November 2019 when I got to Houston, they stopped me in relation to the murder of Ahmed Suale. Today you have the report and you know”, he revealed in anger on a local radio station monitored by

The maverick politician indicates that he is pained by the fact that his name is associated with the murder when the real culprit is walking free and being aided by some individuals.

“I don’t give a dem because it’s my reputation on the line”, he stressed.

US Congressman seeks sanctions against Ken Agyapong over journalist’s murder

It would be recalled that in January 2019, US Congressman, Henry C. “Hank” Johnson Jr. is asking the United States government to sanction Ghanaian MP, Kennedy Agyapong over the death of investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

In a letter dated January 18, 2019, addressed to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Mr. Johnson does not only urge maximum U.S. diplomatic, law enforcement, and intelligence support for an investigation into the murder of Ahmed, he also wants “the application of travel, banking, and other applicable sanctions targeting Kennedy Agyapong MP,” for urging “violence against the journalist prior to his murder
