Leading member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Joseph Yammin has attacked Ghanaians Christians for joining electorates in the country to give the President an undeserving second-term mandate.
“They really know that President Akufo-Addo can’t do well in his second, but they have voted for him… knowing the right and not doing it, they will miss Heaven because that’s also a sin”, he preached on a live radio
The former Deputy Ashanti Regional who spoke on Manhyia-based Opemsuo FM morning show monitored by MyNewsGh.com laid the blame on the doorstep of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by President Akufo-Addo for also maintaining him as their flagbearer.
According to the outspoken politician, the President, Nana Akufo-Addo while in opposition promised Ghanaians economic freedom when given the opportunity to serve contrary to what the citizenry are experiencing.
“Even Christians and other believers who should know better believed it but today, most of them can’t go to church because they have no money. Even giving has become problem and how can you go to Heaven”, Joseph Yammin told host, George Opoku Mensah.
The former Deputy National National Disaster of Managing Organization(NADMO) also took on government for the recent insecurity situation in the country including robbery attacks on bullion vans leading to the death of some Ghanaians including a police officer at James Town in Accra
“I wasn’t surprised when I heard the news. The insecurity did happen immediately NPP won power with Nana Akufo-Addo. I know he cannot protect or defend us as Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces”, Hon. Joseph Yammin stated.
