Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, a former Black Stars player, has categorically denied ever courting television personality Delay.
Agyeman-Badu claims that although they had a good time together as friends, they were never in a relationship.
In a long interview with Sammy Kay media’s Samuel Kumah, the Ghanaian international discussed his future plans with the team.
Badu was questioned about rumors that he had a relationship with Ghanaian broadcaster and entrepreneur Deloris Frimpong Manso nicknamed Delay, who went by the stage name Delay.
Agyeman Badu emphasized that he had a wonderful connection with Delay, but that there was no romantic element to their relationship.
Badu says that they first met around a decade ago when Delay reached out to him about doing an interview on her radio program.
Immediately after the interview, they remained in contact and grew to be good friends.
Agyeman Badu said that their strong friendship led to the two of them swapping vehicles at one point.
Apparently, Badu had to go back to the Brong Ahafo area at a time when his vehicle was at the mechanic’s shop, so he borrowed Delay’s car instead, and she returned the favor by taking her own automobile after hers had been fixed.
He went on to say that he thinks this is where the rumors originate – that someone may have seen Delay driving about in his modified vehicle, according to Agyeman Badu.
He also stated that, since Delay could communicate in rudimentary Italian, they sometimes exchanged pleasantries in the language, including calling each other (my love).
In the footage, he also mentions that he used to go to her house alone and eat fufu with her.
