Double Tragedy As Wife Of Businessman Who Was Poisoned & Strangled By Traditional Healers Dies Two Days Later
In a tragic development, a woman reportedly died two days after her husband was poisoned and strangled to death by two traditional healers during a money-making ritual in Bindura.
According to state media, Medio Kashiri’s wife (name not supplied) died after experiencing a heart attack.
One of the neighbors who spoke on condition of anonymity said that they heard she complained of heartache before she passed away. She added that the other neighbors were not even aware of the incidents at the Kashiri’s residence and only got to know the cause of the death through the media.
Kashiri’s wife was buried at Glen Forest while her husband was buried at his rural home.
Medio Kashiri along with Petros Mwale and Antony Murombo Ndawana were recently found dead at Bata Farm in Bindura after they had drunk a concoction prepared by the traditional healers.
Following the trio’s mysterious death, neighbors also believe there is great mystery surrounding her death as they argued that her sudden death is somehow connected to her husband’s death.
Meanwhile, one of the traditional healer Isaac Biningu (37) was arrested in connection with the trio’s murder. He appeared in court recently facing charges of murder and escaping from lawful custody.
He appeared in court on a stretcher bed due to injuries sustained after jumping from a moving police vehicle in his alleged bid to flee.
He was remanded in custody to 27 May.
