The all-time courageous radio personality, Captain Smart has sent some messages to politicians in Ghana.
On Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana show, Captain Smart who was suspended from Angel Broadcasting Network(ABN) for going too hard on government officials was interviewed and he explained the cause of his suspension and also sent some messages to politicians.
According to Captain Smart, he was asked to quit presenting his program on ABN after their Director of Operations received a call from the owner of Angel Broadcasting Network, Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
They claimed that Captain Smart was using bad utterances live on air and was too harsh on President Nana Akuffo Addo, Vice President Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia, and the Minister for Trade and Industry Hon. Alan Kyeremateng. He also said the management had complained of calls from certain quarters including the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) to Dr. Oteng over comments attributed to him on Angel FM’s morning show.
“Any day, any time, if there is any nonsense going on in this country, I will rise and talk”. He said.
He also said, “I will keep shouting, I will keep pointing the mistakes. If you are a politician, it is your responsibility to either like me or hate me because you don’t feed me and until we begin to do that, we can never ever save this country. I am not afraid, I am not worried, I am not perturbed, I am not disturbed, I am a happy man. I am enjoying [with] my family and the 30 days they say I should stay home, thank God I will be happiest person”.
