Boca Juniors winger, Eduardo Salvio, has been accused of running over his ex-wife, Magui Aravena, in a confrontation in the early hours of Thursday night.
According to Aravena, she confronted Salvio in the early hours of Thursday whilst he was in a car with another woman.
After an exchange of words, she stood in front of the former Benfica winger’s vehicle. Salvio proceeded to drive the car straight into her as he left the scene.
Aravena, has suffered injuries to her right leg which are currently being treated at the Argerich Hospital, in Buenos Aires.
Salvio, who played 14 times for Argentina, is wanted by the police, on charges of gender-based violence. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
